After an early morning flight out of Washington we are now in New York. Before I go on…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!

It may have been yesterday in Australia, but it´s today here, so we´re going out to have a few celebratory drinks for that tonight!

The city is massive, and everything I imagined. Just like the movies make out, there is a hot dog stand on every corner, massive buildings, and times square is an awesome mess of bright LED signs and TVs. We went for a walk around Central Park which is incredibly big.

It´s also freezing cold! We have all the right clothes, but we seem to suck at putting it on.

Washington was great because everything was free, that´s definitely not the case in New York! At least it gives us a chance to get rid of any left over US dollars before we head to Europe.
The other good thing about New York seems to be the Delis everywhere. Selling fruit salad, sandwiches and a million other healthy snacks, it will be a welcome change from the greasy crap we´ve been eating.

Chris did you have a ‘blast’, ‘a blinder’, ‘a rip snorter good time’, ‘a Fullon’, ‘a Late One’ kinda night for your BIRTHDAY.
What ever you did it was awesome & captured through photos…most likely not remembered fully by memory, if it was a good one…Happy Birthday…
