Grand Canyon

After a few too many drinks Saturday night it was a pretty tall order getting up at 6am for a bus to the Grand Canyon. Tired and hungover we took made it in time.
On the way we stopped at Hoover Dam. It needs to be seen to be believed.
But the Grand Canyon…
Too amazing for words. 3 out of 3 hungover backpackers agreed it was one of the most amazing things we’d ever seen. We had a crystal clear day and were stuck for words at something so incredible.

I just have a problem with your use of the word ‘backpackers’. Firstly, you took suitcases (well Chris did at least - so we’ll assume you all did), and secondly, the term ‘backpackers’ implies more of a budget style holiday, where one’s accommodation consists of usually smelly & sometimes dirty hostels and similar shared accommodation… perhaps you are unaware of the one-letter difference between the words HOTEL and HOSTEL? This extra letter effectively translates to quite a significant difference in comfort and luxury…anyway I think you get my point ^_^
